What is AARP Tax-Aide?

AARP Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest free, volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service available to taxpayers with low- and moderate-income, with special attention to those age 60 and older. Through a cadre of trained volunteers, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide has helped low- to moderate-income individuals for more than 40 years.

Last year in Nebraska, o
ur 175 volunteers helped over 8,000 taxpayers with their federal and Nebraska returns.  We operated at approximately 35 tax preparation sites.
